COVID-19 Kills 44 More People in Iran
TEHRAN – The number of deaths from the coronavirus pandemic in Iran increased to 143,728 after 44 more people lost their lives over the past 24 hours, Iran’s health ministry announced on Sunday.
According to the ministry, 1,693 new cases of the respiratory disease were detected during the period, 398 of whom were hospitalized. The ministry said 7,284,077 people out of 7,523,662 infected people have recovered or been discharged from hospitals.
