Two More Palestinians Martyred

WEST BANK (Dispatches) – A 17-year-old Palestinian was shot dead on Tuesday by Zionist troops in the city of Al-Khalil during mass West Bank protests against the killing of three resistance fighters in Nablus earlier in the day.
The Palestinian ministry of health said Moamen Yasin Jaber arrived at the Ahli Hospital in Al-Khalil with severe wounds after being shot with an expanding dumdum bullet in the heart.
He succumbed to his wounds while doctors attempted to rescue his life, Wafa news agency reported.
In similar violent crackdowns across the occupied West Bank, Palestinian medics said they treated more than 15 people wounded by Zionist troops.
Meanwhile, a Palestinian man seriously injured in the latest Zionist aggression on the besieged Gaza Strip has died of his wounds, raising the death toll from the three-day-long bloody assaults on the impoverished coastal sliver of land to at least 47, including 16 children and four women.
Palestinian medical sources identified the man as Ibrahim Shehda Abu Salah.
The sources added that the 41-year-old was seriously injured last Saturday, when Zionist troops fired missiles and shells at a residential neighborhood in Beit Hanoun city, which lies on the northeast edge of the Gaza Strip, leaving several Palestinians dead and dozens of others wounded.
On Monday, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced in a statement that a young girl had succumbed to serious wounds sustained in the attacks.
The ministry said the 10-year-old child, identified as Hanin Abu Qayda, was critically injured on August 6, when the army targeted a civilian car in the Bedouin village of Umm al-Nasr.
Her grandmother, Na’ama Mohammad Abu Qayda, 62, was instantly killed in the strike, while seven members of her family were wounded.
Tens of thousands of Palestinians marched throughout the city of Nablus in the north of the Israeli-occupied West Bank, mourning the martyrdom of a senior resistance commander.
The funeral procession was held on Tuesday for Ibrahim al-Nabulsi, identified as one of the commanders of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, which is a coalition of West Bank-based Palestinian armed groups.
Nablusi and another Palestinian, named by the Palestinian Authority’s health ministry as Islam Sabbouh, were martyred earlier in the day after the Zionist troops raided a house in Nablus, destroying the structure with shoulder-fired missiles.
Clashes with the occupying regime’s army also broke out in other parts of the city, as Palestinians hurled stones at the troops.
