Iran Urges UK, France to Pressure U.S.
TEHRAN -- The spokesman for Iran’s Foreign Ministry on Tuesday reiterated the futility of threats and sanctions against Tehran, urging Britain and France to force the U.S. to take the necessary decisions to pave the way for a revival of the 2015 deal instead of siding with the party responsible for the agreement’s troubled condition.
“Instead of standing alongside the culprit for current situation of JCPOA, UK & France need to press their ally to take needed decisions for a lasting & strong agreement,” Nasser Kanaani said in a post on his Twitter account.
