TEHRAN (IFILM) --
Iranian cineastes Arameh Etemadi, Hassan Tehrani, and Herman Farahi have been selected as jury members at the 28th edition of the Palm Springs International ShortFest in the U.S.
The jury panel, including Iranian figures, will judge short films for the Bridging the Borders Award.
The award is presented to winners of the Palm Springs ShortFest by Cinema Without Borders.
According to the official website of Cinema Without Borders, “At a time when physical, religious, racial, cultural, and economic borders divide the population of our planet, efforts to bridge those borders should be appreciated. In that spirit, Cinema Without Borders presents the Bridging the Borders Award to the films that are most successful in bridging and connecting the people of our world closer together”.
The 2022 edition of the Palm Springs ShortFest will be held on June 21-27 bringing filmmakers, film industry professionals, and guests together.
