PM Modi: India Ready to Strengthen Ties With Iran
NEW DELHI (Dispatches) -- India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his country’s readiness to develop and strengthen relation with Iran in all areas.
In his meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian, Modi spoke dearly of his visit to the Islamic Republic and sent his regards for Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and President Ebrahim Raisi. He touched on the historical and civilizational background of Tehran-New Delhi ties, saying the COVID pandemic slowed relations between the two nations. Modi hoped Tehran and New Delhi would add new momentum to their bilateral cooperation.
