‘The Winner’ Competes in Seoul Event
TEHRAN (IFILM) -- The Seoul International Children’s Film Festival (SICFF) in South Korea has been slated to host Iranian short film ‘The Winner’.
Directed by Ali Keyvan, the 15-minute short flick will be among the films to compete at the KIDS CREATIVE section of the Korean event’s 10th edition.
A brief synopsis for the film reads. “Vahid’s new bicycle, which his father prepared for the race, is very similar to his friend Ali Reza’s stolen bicycle...”.
‘The Winner’ has already toured a number of global events, including the International Film Festival for Children and Youth Awards in Isfahan and the International Film Festival for Children and Youth Kinolub in Poland.
The SICFF aims to discover great contents that children can enjoy. It also gives room to voices from all over the world for the next generation to be heard.
The fest promotes the idea for the children to discover a better world and for the grown-ups dream about a better future.
This year’s edition of the event that has taken up 145 films from 47 countries is set to be held on June 15-22.
