As you all know, today is the auspicious birth anniversary of Our Innocent Lady of Qom.
We are sure, many of you youngsters are in the holy city of Qom on the 1st of the month of Zil-Qa’dah, to pay homage at the sanctified shrine of Hazrat Fatema al-Ma’soumah (SA).
May God accept your pilgrimage and grant you success in life and salvation in afterlife.
Last night happened to the be eve of Wednesday, and perhaps many of you visiting Qom took the opportunity to pray at the celebrated Jamkaran Mosque, which is associated with the Lord of the Age, Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance for establishment of the global government of peace, prosperity and justice; Amen).
In view of the virtues of the noble daughter of Imam Musa al-Kazem (AS) – the 7th Infallible Heir of Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) – the Islamic Republic of Iran every year marks the blessed birthday of Hazrat Ma’asoumah (SA) as “Day of Virtuous Daughters”.
Indeed, the sister of Imam Reza (AS) is an inspiration to all those girls and women who tread the path of God and abstain from frivolities, especially the satanic temptations of decadent western culture.
Such was the lofty position of Hazrat Ma’souma, in terms of piety, wisdom, knowledge, and worship of God, that Qom has been transformed into the center for diffusion of the genuine teachings of Islam worldwide.
Presently, there are students from some 80 countries in holy Qom, engaged in the study of the dynamic legacy of the Ahl al-Bayt of Prophet Muhammad (SAWA).
These are indeed the blessings of Hazrat Ma’soumah (SA), who is rightly called “Kareemat-al-Ahl al-Bayt” or the Munificent Lady of the Prophet’s Household.
No wonder, Qom has been hailed as the stairway to the ethereal heavens, while pilgrimage to the holy shrine of Hazrat Ma’soumah (AS), for those aware of her lofty status, is a passport to paradise, as her nephew, Imam Muhammad al Jawad (AS) has promised.
