Iran Mercantile Exchange Weekly Trade Tops $320 Million
TEHRAN – The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) on Saturday reported that over 1,291,414 tonnes of commodities with a total trading value of more than 323 million were traded on its domestic and exporting halls in the last week.
The report said over 1,181,000 tonnes of metals and minerals commodities, including 966,853 tonnes of cement, 161,048 tonnes of steel, 23,000 tonnes of sponge iron, 16,000 tonnes of iron ore, 9,900 tonnes of aluminum, 4,320 tonnes of copper, 450 tonnes of zinc, 150 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate and 24 tonnes of precious metals concentrate with total value of $229 million were traded in its trading halls.
And also the IME’s report added over 103,235 tonnes of oil and petrochemical commodities including 32,292 tonnes of polymeric products, 22,520 tonnes of chemicals, 18,300 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 16,500 tonnes of lube cut, 12,455 tonnes of bitumen, 1,597 tonnes of base oil, 570 tonnes of sulfur and 40 tonnes of argon with total value of $86 million were traded in its trading halls in the last week.
