On the threshold of the fast emerging new world order as history’s most evil power, the US, is on a steep decline and its terrorist surrogate, the illegal Zionist entity, is desperately trying to avert its approaching doom, a regime in our vicinity which is clearly in its death throes is continuing its treason against the cause of al-Aqsa, and this time on the eve of the World Qods Day when the Ummah joined by all the conscientious people of the planet renews its allegiance to the campaign for the liberation of Palestine.

Tomorrow, April 29, happens to be the Last Friday of the fasting month of Ramadhan, designated by the Father of the Islamic Revolution in 1979, as the day for global mobilization of the Muslim masses for the cherished goal of freeing Islam’s former qibla (direction of prayer).

Since then world equations have positively changed and today there is no part of the planet where people for whom humanitarian values are alive do not join together to decry the atrocities of the Israelis and declare support for the long oppressed Palestinian people.  

After two years of absence of any mass demonstrations on the streets because of the Coronavirus pandemic, the people in Iran and other countries are all set to stage road rallies to deliver the message to the Palestinian people to keep up their heroic struggle with promise to help them improve their fast developing means of defence.

The “Qods Pulpit” held on the cyberspace a couple of days ago and watched by millions around the world saw leading revolutionary figures from Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and other countries, including Bahrainis living in exile, affirm their assistance to the people of Palestine.

The virtual gathering has had an electrifying impact on viewers, even in the West, where frozen consciences are being awakened.

Yet, a minority regime in our neighbourhood which after decades of repression of the people it illegally rules with the help of the British and the Americans, and has now openly aligned with the usurpers of Palestine and the occupiers of Qods, shamelessly continues its path of treachery.

Last Sunday, as part of its daydream to extend its precarious survival, it hosted a notorious Zionist who is an avowed enemy of the Palestinian people and an adherent of the Israeli slanderers of Prophet Jesus and the Virgin Mary (peace upon them) despite calling himself a Christian, and even an evangelist.

In Manama, Joel Rosenberg, founder of the so-called Near East Media and his mixed delegation of a group of US evangelical businessmen and Israelis, was warmly received by Bahrain’s Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Aal-e Khalifa, who unabashedly bragged about what he called coexistence, tolerance, and openness in the island state.

He claimed his regime protects the rights to the freedom of worship, which definitely does not mean the rights of Bahrain’s long suppressed Shi’a Muslim majority to observe their rituals in mosques and husseiniyas that are regularly desecrated and copies of the holy Qur’an trampled by the security forces, but the freedom of the fraction of Jewish infiltrators to set up synagogues in Manama.

Rosenberg for his part was all praise for the Zionist usurpers of Palestine, claiming that he had shifted from the US to Israel on inspiration from God.

It is obvious that such theatrics can neither save the illegal Zionist entity from extinction nor guarantee the further existence of the Aal-e Khalifa regime. 

Bahrain’s senior religious leader, Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qasim, who is in forced exile, rightly remarked at the virtual conference “Qods Pulpit” on the eve of World Qods Day, that the people of Palestine as well as the people of Bahrain have a date with destiny that none can postpone any longer, and they will certainly will be masters of their own occupied homelands.
