Irish Festival Awards Iranian Short Documentary
TEHRAN -- The 25th Fresh International Film Festival in Ireland has awarded Iranian short documentary ‘Snoring’.
The Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported that Sara Abedi’s ‘Snoring’, which took part in the festival’s international competition, won the best film award.
The film is about Sara, a 10-year-old girl, who is complaining about her father’s snoring.
“She tries to get her dad to stop snoring,” a synopsis for the film reads.
The Fresh International Film Festival is “a festival for young filmmakers aged 7 -18”, according to an online submission platform.
The event involves screenings, workshops and meetings.
The 25th edition of the festival took place on March 28-April 2.
