TEHRAN –The Iranian short film “35-10” won the Best Fiction prize in the fourth Flatness Film Awards in Turkey.
Directed by Yaser Barzegar, written and produced by Mahboobeh Rabetian, the Iranian short film “35-10” won the Best Fiction prize in the fourth Flatness Film Awards in Turkey in its eighth international appearance.
The synopsis of the short film “35-10” states that a little girl who is under domestic violence calls the emergency services and reports her father’s suspicious death.
Flatness Film Awards is an international independent film festival, committed to sharing great stories from both new and established international and domestic filmmakers from the world of independent cinema.
Iranian short film ‘My Heart’ has also been selected to compete at the seventeenth edition of the Press Vitez Festival in Serbia.
Directed by Yaser Talebi, the short film ‘My Heart’ narrates the story of a teacher who suffers from heart disease and her students are trying to help her overcome the illness.
‘My Heart’ has previously participated in the International Film Festival “Catharsis” in Russia and the Emerging Lens Cultural Film Festival in Canada.
Founded in 2006, the Press Vitez Festival welcomes films from around the world and supports and promotes creative films.
The 2022 edition of the event will be held on December 1.
