Zionist Troops Martyr Three Palestinians Including Teen
WEST BANK (Dispatches)
– Zionist troops martyred three
Palestinians and wounded nine others on Monday across the occupied West Bank and Negev desert.
The shootings bring the number of Palestinians killed by the Zionist regime since the start of the year to 20, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa.
Palestine’s Ministry of Health said that nine Palestinians were wounded during night raids by the occupying regime in the Qalandia and Balata refugee camps, near Ramallah and Nablus.
Wafa reported that Nader Haitham Rayan, 17, was killed in Balata refugee camp after bullets struck him in the head, abdomen and hand during the night raid.
An eyewitness said that Rayan was on his way to a stall selling tea and coffee which belongs to his family when Zionist troops opened fire at him and his friend while they were riding on a motorbike.
“I tried to carry Nader but he was heavily bleeding and unconscious. His friend was crying and shouting that Nader became a martyr.
“We took him to the hospital but he had lost his life before we reached it,” the eyewitness said, adding that Nader and his friend did not pose a threat to Zionist troops in the area.
Nader used to sell coffee and tea in the early hours of the morning before going to school.
Moreover, a Palestinian man was shot and killed by Zionist undercover police in the predominantly Bedouin city of Rahat early on Tuesday.
Palestinian media outlets, citing local sources, identified the victim as 27-year-old Salem al-Harbed. According to them, he is survived by his wife and three children.
Shortly afterward, the Palestinian health ministry said the regime troops had killed a young Palestinian man, believed to be in his 20s, in Qalandiya refugee camp.
Wafa news agency reported that Zionist troops opened live fire, and fatally shot Alaa Shaham.
The ministry said Shaham was hit by a live round in the head and killed immediately.
Six other people were also injured and taken to Palestine Medical Complex in the central West Bank city of Ramallah.
On March 7, Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh condemned the killing of a young Palestinian man over an alleged stabbing attack in the Old City of occupied Al-Quds, saying the Tel Aviv regime continues to escalate its repressive measures and attacks across the occupied territories through field execution of youths.
“Israel continues to intensify its aggression in large parts of our land, taking advantage of the international community’s preoccupation with the ongoing Ukraine conflict,” Shtayyeh said at a weekly cabinet meeting in Ramallah.
He warned of “the dangerous repercussions of the escalation of killings and field executions committed by the Israeli forces in the Palestinian territories.”
