TEHRAN – An informed official with the Iranian foreign ministry on Saturday rejected reports that the U.S. had set a deadline for Iran to make a final decision in Vienna talks.

Noting that such reports are fundamentally wrong, the official called on the people not to pay attention to rumors. The rebuttal came unknown Western diplomatic sources were quoted to have said that if remaining issues in the talks were not resolved in the next few days, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, JCPOA, would be deemed “dead.”
