Christmas Greetings
Salaam dear young friends, and hope you are all fine by the Grace of God Almighty.
So let us first felicitate our Christian readers (especially in the west) on the occasion of Christmas which they are celebrating today as the supposed birthday of Prophet Jesus (AS).
In the Islamic Republic of Iran also there are some Christian sects who mark the 25th of December as birthday of Prophet Jesus (AS), while for others like those of the Armenian and other eastern Churches (Assyrian, Russian, and Greek Orthodox), January 6 is Christmas Day.
The Christians of the eastern churches – established well before the Western Church of Rome – mark the 6th of January (first month of the solar year) as the birthday of the Virgin-born Messiah, who according to Islamic texts was born on the 6th of Muharram (first month of the lunar year).
So let us join hands to promote the messages of peace of Prophet Jesus (AS) and of Prophet Muhammad (SAWA), who confirmed each other’s missions. Interestingly, Muslims believe that the Son of Mary will return to the Earth along with Imam Mahdi (AS), the Last Infallible Heir of Prophet Muhammad (SAWA), to help establish the global government of peace, prosperity and justice.
These undeniable facts are points worth pondering upon by both the Christians and the Muslims in order to pave the ground for God’s Rule on Earth, as foretold by both Jesus (AS) and Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) – oblivious to the plots of the Zionists and the Salafis.
No wonder the tidings of Jesus (AS) on the coming of the Last Prophet – the Paraclete or Hmda – as mentioned in the Gospel of St. John (14:16) have been preserved by God Almighty in the holy Qur’an (61:6)
“O Children of Israel! Indeed I am the Prophet of Allah to you, to confirm what is before me of the Torah, and to give the tidings of the Prophet to come after me, whose name is Ahmad.”
The world will indeed become a peaceful place to live in, only when Christians summon up the courage to embark on a comparative study of the Bible and the Holy Qur’an to discover that the “Comforter”or “Paraclete” (translation of Hmda) mentioned in the Gospel of St. John is the same “Ahmad”of Surah Saff.
Goodbye and Merry Christmas
