Our region is on the threshold of a historical turn of events that requires iron-resolve resistance, spirited efforts, and sacrifices to end the undue presence of outside forces, especially of the US, which has no right to be here, and which is the main cause of the crises plaguing our part of the world since the past several decades.
The Americans have illegally set up bases on Syrian soil, taken control of Egypt, Jordan and most Arab states of the Arabian Peninsula, are stubboSrnly staying in Turkey, and despite the decision and demand of the Iraqi people and government, have still not left the Land of the Tigris and Euphrates.
Their warships have destabilized the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf, and have intruded into the Arabian and Mediterranean Seas to disturb merchant shipping and to aid and abet the crimes against humanity of the terroristic Zionist entity.
It is clear that Washington, which for the past 45 years has resorted to every devilish plot against the Islamic Republic of Iran, but failed, is the ‘Great Satan’.
This means, it is in the best interests of all the people of the region to close ranks and throw of the US yoke from their necks, just as Iran had successfully done four-and-a-half decades ago in 1979.
Now comes the heartening news that Baghdad has served notice to Washington for end of the American occupation of Iraq.
Senior lawmaker and head of one of Iraq’s top anti-terrorism organizations (Hashd ash-Sha’bi or the Popular Mobilization Units) has disclosed that Baghdad has set a timetable for expulsion of the US occupation forces from the country.
Hadi al-Amiri, head of the Fatah Alliance in Iraq’s parliament and leader of the famous Badr Organization, made the announcement on Saturday, saying: “The decision to withdraw these forces from Iraq is irreversible.”
He said the ongoing US-directed Israeli genocide of the Palestinians in Gaza has become a “criterion for differentiating truth from falsehood.” 
The Iraqi people and government are firm supporters of the rights of the people of Zionist-usurped Palestine, said the senior Iraqi lawmaker, making it clear that Iraq fully supports the Axis of Islamic Resistance.
“The blood of Martyr Ismail Haniyeh”, he added “will be a trailblazer for the Islamic Resistance until the victory over the Zionist entity is achieved.” 
According to reports, Iraq has given a two-month period for closure of all US bases on its soil, or else face the wrath of the Iraqi people, whose blood has stained the hands of the murderous American occupiers.
The Popular Mobilization Units have placed their forces on full alert with a vow to attack US bases and send home their occupants in body bags if the Americans were to show any laxity in this regard.
Therefore, Washington should withdraw its occupation forces from not just Iraq but also from Syria and also from all the Arab and non-Arab countries in order to make the world, especially our region a safe place to live in.
