TEHRAN -- Venezuelan Minister of Culture, Ernesto Villegas, has highlighted his country’s ties with Iran, while unveiling details of the Farsi translation of his book “April, blow inside”, on Hispantv television station.
“I am impressed and admired by the speed and quality with which they achieved this beautiful edition in Farsi language that fills me with pride and I am very honored that this book can serve to expand the bridge of cultural exchange between our peoples,” Villegas said.
The original text, presented in several countries and languages, arrives here twelve years later and in Farsi language with the intention of revealing a difficult chapter in the history of Venezuela, the author explained. He pointing out that it describes how the oligarchies are determined to silence the peoples.
The hegemonic media are increasingly delegitimized as a means for the citizens of the world to be informed about global realities, because it is more and more evident that they seek to denigrate peoples, leaders and governments that are uncomfortable to their interests, Villegas said.d
