President Orders Probe Into Last Year Riots
TEHRAN – President Ebrahim Raisi has tasked a committee with looking into the dimensions of last year’s deadly riots in Iran.
The committee was instructed to complete the work of other bodies that were formed to investigate the events. It must investigate the complaints of those injured in the unrest, and those seeking compensation for material or mental damage they suffered during the riots.
