TEHRAN – Iran women’s national ice hockey team have qualified for the final at the 2023 Asian championships in Thailand.
The Iranian team won against Singapore on Saturday in their fifth match at the 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey Women’s Asia and Oceania Championship.
The Iranians had already beat their rivals from India, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan and the UAE to advance into the semi-final where they played against Singapore.
The IIHF Ice Hockey Women’s Asia and Oceania Championship kicked off in Bangkok on April 30.
