President Raisi Calls on Muslim Nations to Unite
TEHRAN -- President Ebrahim Raisi said Monday leaders of Muslim countries should rely on the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and revere the spirituality of Ramadan in order to promote unity within the Muslim community during the sacred fasting month.
In a message to head of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat, the president extended his felicitations on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, saying that it is the month of emancipation from worldly entanglements.
“I wish growth and development for the Yemeni nation, Muslims and all those who tread the path of righteousness,” he said.
Raisi added that all Muslims should glorify the name of Islam in the world through common steps and concerted efforts.
In the message, the president also said Ramadan is the month of emancipation from worldly affairs.
Raisi said that Muslims should seek to make Islam proud in the world by relying on their joint steps and efforts.
