ECO Cultural Institute Unveils Persian Translation of ‘Nart-Nameh’

TEHRAN (IBNA) -- The book ‘Nart-Nameh: Mythical Heroes in Iran and Ossetia’ will be unveiled by ECO Cultural Institute (ECI) office in Tehran at a ceremony on the occasion of Yalda Night Celebration.
This work which contains mythological narratives and legends of the Nart people has been translated from Ossetian language into Persian by Musa Abdollahi and Maryam Moradi, faculty members of Allameh Tabatabai University in cooperation with North Ossetian State University.
The unveiling ceremony of ‘Nart-Nameh: Mythical Heroes in Iran and Ossetia’ will be held today at 4:30 PM, with the ambassadors and cultural attachés of ECO (Economic Cooperation Organization) member countries, as well as diplomatic representatives from non-member countries, including Romania, Qatar, Oman, Lebanon, Malaysia, China, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Japan, Iraq and Italy.
Secretary General of ECO and 21 Afghan artists and researchers residing in Tehran will also be hosted by ECO Cultural Institute.
