Parsian Gas Refinery Set for 60mcm/d Output

TEHRAN - The CEO of Parsian Gas Refining Company stated that the plant is responsible for about 8% of the country’s total gas output, and added that the production of Parsian Refinery reaches 60 million cubic meters per day (mcm/d) soon.
According to the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), Alamdar Babaei, emphasizing that the refinery is determined to meet its gas production commitment in the winter season, said: “Overhauls in the Parsian Gas Refinery will be carried out as planned.”
Referring to the high volume of assigned tasks in the Parsian Gas Refinery, he said: “Fortunately, the tasks concerning the technical and engineering inspection of the processes were carried out using the power of domestic resources, and according to the plan, the operation of the refinery has been resumed for winter production.”
The CEO of Parsian Gas Refining Company said gas production in this refinery is now around 50 to 55 mcm/d, which is expected to increase with more feedstock supply to the facility from the upstream sector in the last four months of the year, which will bring the plant’s output to 60 mcm/d in winter.
Bidboland Refinery Boosts Output
The CEO of Bidboland Gas Refining Company Ali Muhammad Pourreza announced that this compound, with a 22% rise in gas production capacity compared to the same period last year and carrying out overhauls in various parts of the refinery and Masjid Suleiman Refinery as a subsidiary of this company, is fully prepared to receive maximum feedstock and stable production of gas in winter.
Pourreza said: “Bidboland Gas Refinery, as the oldest gas refinery in West Asia, has the mission of producing gas for domestic consumption.”
He stated that the Bidboland refinery has a daily production capacity of 27 mcm of gas, and added: “This refinery is now fully ready to receive maximum feedstock and stable gas production in winter.”
The CEO of Bidboland Gas Refining Company also pointed to the 22% rise in gas production capacity of this refinery compared to the same period last year, and stated: “This important achievement is another sign of the growing and successful trend of this refinery in order to provide services to the people and improve the capacity of the country’s gas refineries.”
