Iran Welcomes Kenya’s Presidential Election Result
TEHRAN – The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry has congratulated the Kenyan government and people on holding a successful presidential election after Deputy President William Ruto was officially declared the winner.
Nasser Kanaani praised the role of the Kenyan government, parties, politicians, ethnic elders and religious leaders in holding the vote, describing it as an example of successful experience in the region and the wider African continent.
