IME Weekly Trade Exceeds $410 Million
TEHRN – The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) on Saturday reported that over 1,894,368 tonnes of commodities with a total value of almost $413 million were traded on its physical market in the last week.
The IME’s report said that over of 1,685,000 tonnes of metal and mineral commodities including 874,842 tonnes of cement, 531,000 tonnes of iron ore, 200,460 tonnes of steel, 63,500 tonnes of sponge iron, 710 tonnes of zinc, 12,650 tonnes of aluminum, 4,100 tonnes of copper, 30 tonnes of precious metals concentrate, 1,000 tonnes of coke and 6 kg of gold bars with total value of $260 million were traded on its trading halls.
It also added that on the oil and petrochemical trading floor, over 203,116 tonnes of commodities including 74,818 tonnes of polymeric products, 4,200 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 32,000 tonnes of lube cut, 34,191 tonnes of chemicals, 110 tonnes of sulfur, 2,953 tonnes of base oil and 54,360 tonnes of bitumen with total value of $148 million were traded in the last week.
The IME also traded within the same week 6,034 tonnes of commodities on its side market.
