Report: Zionist Regime Playing PKK Card to Pressure Turkey
ANKARA (MEMO) – Turkey is worried about the potential for the Zionist regime to back the Kurdish PKK militants in response to Ankara’s alleged support for the Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, Rai Al-Youm has reported.
Informed sources said that a delegation from the Zionist regime’s Mossad spy agency had met with Turkish intelligence officials to discuss security issues. The Mossad agents told their Turkish counterparts that the occupying regime is ready to cooperate with the PKK should Ankara continue its support for Hamas.
According to Rai Al-Youm, this warning was passed to the Turks on the fringes of meetings and contacts on the ground to contain the issue of the Zionists who were detained in Turkey three months ago. Mossad said that the collaborators did not intend to carry out any activities on Turkish soil, but were collecting information about Hamas representatives.
Turkey refuted the claims of the Zionist delegation which is believed to be “lying and misleading” because Ankara had agreed with Hamas that the movement would not let its military leaders or members stay in the country.
Rai Al-Youm said that the occupying regime played the PKK card to put pressure on Turkey to stop its support for Hamas, even though the movement has never sought Turkish support for its military wing.
