Fajr Festival Held With Partial Capacity
TEHRAN (IFILM) -- The 40th edition of the Fajr Film Festival (FFF) in Tehran has been scheduled to be held with 30 percent capacity of the halls.
Due to the coronavirus conditions, organizers of the event are trying to hold it observing all health protocols.
The upcoming edition of the event will be headed by Masoud Naqashzadeh, and take place on February 1-11.
The FFF coincides with the Ten-Day Fajr ceremonies across Iran, marking the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
An international version of the event will be held later in 2022.
Starting from 2023, the domestic and international versions of Fajr will be once again held as part of one event titled “Fajr International Film Festival”.
Since its establishment in 1982, the FFF has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.
