Applauded Drama Off to Iraqi Festival
TEHRAN (IFILM) -- Iranian short flick ‘Life Gone with the Wind’ has been scheduled for screening at the Slemani International Film Festival in Iraq.
Co-directed by Siavash Saed-Panah and Omid Gharibi, the short film is on screen at the 5th edition of the Iraqi fest.
‘Life Gone with the Wind’ tells the story of a senior lady, who sees her life gone with the wind, when she notices a kite flying around and going away.
Asieh Moradizar and Dina Arshadi are on the cast list of the flick.
The flick has gone on screen at a number of global events and grabbed some awards, including the Special Jury award at the International Pathological Film Festival in Italy and the Best Film Award at the Roshd International Film Festival in Iran.
This year’s edition of the Slemani International Film Festival is also hosting a lineup of Iranian feature films, including Asghar Farhadi’s ‘A Hero’, Saman Salvar’s ‘3 Puffs’, Kaveh Mazaheri’s ‘Botox’, and Mohammad Kart’s ‘Drown’.
The 2021 edition of the event kicked off on December 17 and will wrap up on December 23.
