Iran COVID Deaths Hit Lowest in 8 Months
TEHRAN – The number of patients who died of the coronavirus infection in Iran over the past 24 hours on Friday stood at 100, the lowest death toll since April 1.
The Iranian Health Ministry put the overall deaths from COVID-19 in the country at 128,734. As many as 5,784 new cases of COVID-19 infection were reported in the period, with 893 of them hospitalized, the ministry added.
