Worsening Plight of the Palestinian People

Violence and bloodshed continue unabated in the Usurped Land of Palestine where the sons of the soil have no rights, while the illegal migrants from around the world rule the roost.
Gaza is under siege for over a decade with frequent attacks by the Zionist armed forces that result in the death and injury of innocent men, women, and children.
In the cities and towns of the West Bank there are almost daily encroachments as Israeli occupiers continue to tighten the noose around the necks of the native people.
In the occupied Islamic city of Bayt al-Moqaddas (wrongly called Jerusalem by the western media), gangs of murderers terrorize Muslims praying at Islam’s first qibla, the al-Aqsa Mosque, whose sanctity the Zionist thugs desecrate, while in the adjoining neibhbourhoods, Palestinians living for the past several centuries are evicted from their homes and farmlands to make way for more and more townships for Jews illegally pouring into Usurped Palestine from around the world.
This blatant trampling of human rights is ignored by the UN, which seems to be helpless since the US and other leading western regimes, such as Britain, France, and Germany, support the enslavement of an entire nation.
According to reports, as many as 7,000 Palestinians languish in Israeli jails. Of these, hundreds have been incarcerated under ‘Administrative Detention’ – a so-called policy under which Palestinian inmates are kept in Zionist detention centers without trial or charge.
Some Palestinian prisoners have been held in ‘Administrative Detention’ for up to 11 years in spite of the fact that ‘Administrative Detention’ is illegal under international law.
Israel, however, has been allowed by its godfathers in America and Europe to use it to repress the Palestinian people.
It is indeed a matter of shame, if not treason, for the Arab regimes which have established diplomatic relations with the Usurper Entity, by totally ignoring the plight of the Palestinians, including Miqdad al-Qawasmeh, who is on the verge of death in one of the ‘Administrative Detention’ centres, as a result of his hunger strike for more than 100 days in order to make the world aware of the brutalities and savage nature of the Zionist entity.
His father has appealed to the international human rights bodies to save his son from “certain death” in view of Miqdad’s deteriorating health condition, not just because of hunger strike but by the extreme torture to which the Palestinian youth has been subjected by his Zionist jailors.
There are also five other prisoners who have been on hunger strike for different periods in protest at their detention, with most of them suffering from life-threatening health issues due to their protracted hunger strike.
The World Body should not remain silent towards these crimes against humanity of Israel, which in addition to the repression of Palestinians in the Usurped Land is allowed to frequently indulge in air raids on Syria and Lebanon, and was most probably involved, along with the US and Daesh terrorists, in Sunday’s abortive drone attack on the Iraqi Premier’s house in Baghdad.
