Zionist Regime Hits Gaza for 3rd Consecutive Night

AL-Quds (Dispatches) – The Zionist regime’s aircraft struck a series of targets in the Gaza Strip early Monday allegedly in response to rocket launches out of the territory.
It was the third consecutive night of fighting between the two sides.
Tensions have risen after last week’s escape from a Zionist regime prison by six Palestinian inmates, as well as struggling efforts by Egypt to broker a long-term cease-fire in the wake of an 11-day war last May.
The occupying regime’s military reported three separate rocket launches late Sunday and early Monday.
The Zionist regime reportedly launched a combined aerial blitz using warplanes and armed drones against the Palestinian resistance’s bases throughout the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Shehab news agency said the aircraft had attacked an outpost belonging to the resistance in southern Gaza to the east of the city of Rafah.
Palestinian sources, meanwhile, reported that explosions had echoed across the territory and Rafah itself suffered power outage during the Israeli bombings.
The regime’s military aircraft and UAVs were also reported to have started conducting extensive overflights of the territory.
The resistance has been retaliating against the fresh Zionist aggression with anti-aircraft gunnery.
On Sunday, Palestinian resistance group Hamas said that the Zionist regime is escalating the situation in the Gaza Strip in an effort to evade its internal crises, reported.
“The (military) escalation in Gaza is an attempt by Israel to export its domestic crises…particularly after the collapse of its security system in the wake of the jailbreak from Gilboa prison,” Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum said in a statement.
