Afghans Ought to Mobilize Against Terrorist Menace

By: Kayhan Int’l Staff Writer

Ramadhan is the month of kindness, mercy, compassion, charity, control of vain desires, removal of differences, promotion of the spirit of brotherhood, and an ideal time to build bridges among family and community member – in obedience to God Almighty’s commandments with focus on the greater interests of all humanity, and especially one’s own country and countrymen.
Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) practically demonstrated these egalitarian values, while Islamic scholars throughout the ages have preached this message of fraternity as part of their efforts to mold the Ummah into a monolithic bloc.
Muslims all over the world strive to follow these ideals in the month of fasting for promotion of peace and goodwill, much to the horror of the Satan and his devilish hordes, especially those in human form who relish violence and bloodshed.
In our era, the symbols of satanic power are definitely the Americans, who have unfortunately succeeded in setting up in Muslim countries a variety of macabrely murderous terrorists disguised as Muslims in order to spill Muslim blood and distort the image of Islam.
These apostates who in Syria and Iraq committed the most abominable sins in the name of Islam at the behest of their American masters, have now assembled in Afghanistan, after being driven out from the said countries.
On Friday, these cowards, again on the orders of the leaving US occupation troops, committed fresh acts of terrorism in Pul-e Alam the capital of Logar Province, eastern Afghanistan, and that too at the time of breaking of the day’s fast by students and poor people at a public guest house, martyring over 30 innocent people and causing degrees to a hundred others – many of whom are in critical conditions.
An explosives laden truck was blown at the guest house – one of the many in Afghanistan, where the government provides free lodgings for the travelers, the students, and destitute persons.
According to reports, among the casualties were high school students who had been staying at the guest house, having travelled to Pul-e Alam for university entrance exams, as well as government-affiliated militia members waiting for transportation to another district.
The government in Kabul was quick to lay the blame on the Taliban in view of its past bloody terrorist record, but the militia, which has held several rounds of open talks with the US occupiers, has neither taken responsibility for Friday’s blast nor denied it.
Of late, the Taliban has been trying to improve its image in the hope of winning people’s confidence for having a share in the formation of the next government.
All indicators for the terrorist blast point towards the dastardly Daesh outfit, which has no respect for Muslim blood or Islamic values, despite its masquerading as Muslims, since no true Muslim will ever spill Muslim blood in such a cowardly manner, and that too in the holy month of Ramadhan.
Thus, the US troops whose phased withdrawal is to last till September, are leaving Daesh behind to their dirty work against the Muslim people of Afghanistan, whose only option is to mobilize patriotic militias on the model of the famous Fatemiyoun brigades of devout Afghan Muslim who defeated the Daesh apostates in Syria.
