Sha’ban and its Glorious Days

Salaam dear young friends. New Year greetings to you all; hope you have enjoyed your annual spring holidays.
We are meeting after a three-week gap, which means this is our first chat of the year 1400 solar hijri – aptly designated by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, "Year of Support for Production and Elimination of Obstacles” as a sequel to the "Year of Leap in Production” which was the designation of 1399 and which in his own words "was not completely achieved, but to be fair, made production move forward in important areas.”
It is indeed an incentive for the Iranian nation, the youth in particular, who are all geared up to break new ground in various fields by diversifying and increasing domestic production in order to generate more employment so as to make the national economy further strong in the face of those satanic sanctions the Great Satan (the US) imposes.
As you all know, this year’s Nowruz holidays were coincided with the blessed month of Sha’ban.
The days of 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 11th and 15th of Sha’ban as you all know are the auspicious days which our youngsters celebrated them in their respected homes along with their families.
Can you guess what are these days special for? Yes, you are absolutely correct.
On the third of Sha’ban we marked the birthday of the Martyr of Karbala, Imam Husain (AS), as the "Day of the Pasdar”, as tribute to the selfless endeavours of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, for treading the footsteps of the grandson of Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) to save Iran’s national sovereignty, territorial integrity, religious unity, social amity, and cultural affinity.
The following day, on the birthday of Hazrat Abbas (AS), the valiant standard-bearer of Karbala, who lost both his hands and then his life in the defence of faith and human dignity, we lauded the indomitable spirit of our disabled in various fields, such as sports, arts, defence, economy, agriculture, industry, medicine, computer, aeronautics, nuclear energy, etc.
On fifth of Sha’abn, the 3rd successive day of celebration, we paid homage to Imam Zain al-Abedin (AS), the Survivor of the Tragedy of Karbala, who through the power of piety, patience, prudence and prayer, braved imprisonment, to stand till this day as the supreme symbol of freedom and humanitarian values.
On 7th of Sha’ban, we saluted the teenage Martyr of Karbala, Hazrat Qasem – son of Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba (AS) – on his birthday that teaches us to stand steadfast in the midst of severe adversities in order to overcome heavy odds, even if it means drinking the elixir of martyrdom, with such immortal words on lips: "Dignified death is sweeter than honey.”
11th of Sha’ban was the "Day of the Virtuous Youth” in honour of the birthday of Hazrat Ali Akbar (AS), the son of Imam Husain (AS), while the 15th of Sha’ban was the "Day of the Oppressed” to commemorate the blessed birthday of the Lord of the Age, the Prophet’s 12th and Last Infallible Heir, Imam Mahdi (AS), who will reappear in the end times to end tyranny on Earth by establishing the global government of peace, prosperity and justice.
Stay safe by staying home and please follow the precautionary measures of the Health Ministry. Good bye, see you all next week.
