IME Weekly Trade Hits $443mn

 TEHRAN (Dispatches) – The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) on Sunday reported that around $443 million of various commodities weighting over 718,966 tons were traded in its domestic trading and exports halls in the past working week (Feb.12-18).
The IME report said that 396,872 tons of metal and mineral products, including, 377,074 tons of steel, 9,200 tons of copper, 7,280 tons of aluminum, 3,000 tons of zinc, 60 tons of lead, 150 tons of molybdenum concentrate, 18 tons of precious metals concentrate, 24 kg of gold bars with the total value of 272mn were traded in the IME domestic and exports halls in the last week.
The IME said that over 266,450 tons of various oil and petrochemical products, 64,300 tons of vacuum bottom, 91,597 tons of bitumen, 85,334 tons of polymeric products, 39,033 tons of chemicals, 26,500 tons of lube cut, 3,795 tons of base oil, 30 tons of argon, 350 tons of insulation and 6,500 tons of sulfur with the total value of $170mn were traded in its domestic and exports halls during the last week.
Moreover, the IME saw trade of 5,884 tons of various types of commodities on its side market.
