Iran Pocket Two More Gold Medals

Dubai (Dispatches) – Iranian athletes have won two more gold medals at the 2021 edition of the World Para Athletics Grand Prix in Dubai.
 Iran’s Mahdi Moradi claimed a gold medal at the 2021 World Para Athletics Grand Prix on Friday.
He came first at the Men’s Long Jump T/F13 with 6.57 meters.
Kazakhstan’s rival took a silver medal with 6.44 meters and the Para athlete from Chinese Taipei won the bronze with 5.88 meters.
Mahdi Olad also claimed a gold medal on Day 3 of the event.
The Iranian Para athlete finished in first place at the Men’s Discus Throw F11.
Olad, who had previously won a gold medal at Men’s Shot Put F11, seized the gold with a 39.06 meters throw.
The Russian participant snatched a silver with 35.06 meters and the bronze medal went to Uzbekistan’s athlete who threw 31.85 meters.
Some 471 Para athletes from 52 countries are confirmed for the four-day competition at the Dubai Club for People of Determination, part of the UAE’s Fazza International Athletics Championships.
