UAE Approves Opening Embassy in Occupied Territories

CAIRO (Dispatches) – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has approved the opening of its embassy in the Israeli-occupied territories, state-run Emirates News Agency reported on Sunday.
The Zionist regime and the UAE, with the participation of U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, earlier signed a number of agreements between the regimes, including one on the visa-free regime. The deal should have gone into effect starting on 12 February.
Following the signing of a landmark U.S.-mediated deal between the UAE and the occupying regime in September, the two sides have been seeking ways to promote and advance bilateral cooperation.
Palestinians and much of the Muslim world consider normalization deals between the Arab regimes and the occupying regime as a betrayal against the Palestinian cause and statehood.
