‘Blue Land’ Granted Best International Feature in U.S.

TEHRAN (IFILM) -- The Silver State Film Festival in the U.S. has awarded Iranian filmmaker’s ‘Blue Land’.
Made by Iranian director Ali Fakhr-Mousavi, the flick won the award for best international feature at the U.S. event.
A co-production of Iran, the Czech Republic, Italy, and Ukraine, the film tells the story of Dr. Arash Peyro who decides to go to a border village where he discovers the truth about the past.
He and his wife are covering the process of getting divorced and will appear in the court of justice very soon.
All the cast members are Iranian and the project was filmed in northern Iran. The post-production stage of ‘Blue Land’ was done in the Czech Republic.
Cast members of the film are Mohammad-Reza Rahbar, Manouchehr Azar, Behzad Dorani, Arezou Ebizadeh, Mohammad Jahanshahi, Fariborz Aliakbarpour, and Sahar Abdollahi.
The film has recently gone on screen at the Indo-Global International Film Festival in India.
The Silver State Film Festival is an independent film festival held in Nevada and Las Vegas. It strives to highlight local and international filmmakers in high-quality screening environments.
The 2020 edition of the event was held on December 11-17.
