Wednesday’s riotous incidents at Capitol Hill where goons incited by the Chief Goon in the White House broke into and rampaged the headquarters of the US Congress, once again proved the fallacious nature of the West’s liberal democracy.
We in the Islamic Republic were not surprised by the events in Washington which further humiliated the crook called Donald Trump, who could be kicked out as incompetent and intransigent well before the formal end of his presidency on January 20
It would be better to say the US is beginning to taste its own bitter pill which it has used for the past decades to stage coups against the legitimate leaders of other countries, and to incite anti-social elements against them through false propaganda and distribution of money.
For us, it might be an internal matter whether Trump is sentenced to hard labour in prison for his crimes against the American people or is pardoned by the flawed judiciary in exchanged for confiscation of his dubiously-accumulated wealth.
What is important for Iran is the handing over this terrorist for trial in Tehran and execution at Baghdad International Airport where he committed the unpardonable crime of assassinating two of the top anti-terrorist icons – Iran’s General Qassem Soleimani and Iraq’s Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.
Yes, the US has now been exposed in its true colours. For decades it used to impose its unrealistic ideas upon other nations with pretensions to respect for humanitarian values.
The bare truth is that the core belief of western society has nothing to do with safeguarding the basic rights of citizens or settlers.
Capitalism which is the base of the western belief has always exploited the masses to fill up the pockets of industrialists, the investors, the corporate sector, and the ruling class.
Exploitation, oppression, racial discrimination, financial frauds, moral corruption, and political deception, coupled with pressures, threats, sanctions, economic terrorism and wars on other countries, are the hallmarks of US capitalism.
The old American trick of refusal to accept the election results of other countries through use of so-called opposition figures kept on its payroll, as well as inciting criminals to indulge in street riots through the use of colourful symbols, and looting of public and private property in the name of freedom of action, has now badly boomeranged.
This time, as predicted, Donald the dastardly dotard used this same tactic at home and on the streets of US cities to try to remain in the Oval Office for another four years.
As the Leader of the Islamic Revolution said yesterday on Friday in a television speech to the nation, the US cannot claim to be an ideal for human rights or humanitarian values.
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said: "Today we can see what that ideal has turned into. This is their democracy. This is their election fiasco. This is their human rights: they kill a Black person once in every couple of hours or days, and the murderer is not prosecuted. This is their paralyzed economy. The US economy is truly paralyzed and more weirdly, some still worship America.”
The ruling class in the US should not forget the predictions of the Sage of the Age, the Late Imam Khomeini, about the eventual demise of the US capitalist system.
The Father of the Islamic Revolution, who had foretold the end of the Soviet Union and the suffocating socialist system, had also prophesied the ignominious end of the US, which seems to be near.
The US politicians should know that their ruling system is doomed to fail and they can no longer fool the free societies of the world by claiming that their country was built on the idea of "City upon a Hill”.
As indicators point out, in the near future there would be no United States of America, and in its place there will be several independent countries.
