The Hypocrisy of France & Germany

By: Kayhan Int’l Staff Writer

Was it Europe’s ingrained arrogance or lack of political prudence, or still total frustration at the loss of a loyal stooge for the 4-decade long goal of stirring up sedition in the Islamic Republic at every opportunity that made the governments of France and Germany to issue undiplomatic statements at the execution in Tehran of a traitor responsible for the death of scores of Iranians, and destruction of public and private properties?
Perhaps all three factors, otherwise Paris and Berlin would not have risked further damage to their interests in our region by openly interfering in Iran’s internal affairs through their unwise and unfair criticism of the course of justice against the treasonous criminal Ruhollah Zam.
Anyway, the Foreign Ministry in Tehran promptly summoned the French and German ambassadors, separately yesterday, to sound protest at the meddling behaviour of their respective countries in support of a notorious terrorist who after a fair trial and in view of documented evidence was convicted for causing corruption on earth, among other crimes against the nation.
Zam, who used to run from Paris the anti-Iranian Amad News website that even insulted Islamic sanctities and fueled the seditious riots of 2017, was hanged last Saturday after the Supreme Court upheld a death sentence issued by the Islamic Revolution Court back in June for his crimes against humanity.
He was arrested in October 2019 outside Iran by the Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corp (IRGC) through an intricate operation outmaneuvering the intelligence services of certain Western countries, especially France, for which he used to spy.
This explains the anger and frustration of the regime in Paris, which along with several other European countries, continues to harbour the murderous MKO terrorists wanted in Iran for the killing of over 17,000 persons, including Friday Prayer leaders and senior government officials, such as parliament members, cabinet ministers, Chief Justice Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Hussaini Beheshti, President Mohammad Ali Rajaei, and Prime Minister Hojjat al-Islam Mohammad Javad Bahonar.
It is rather unfortunate of France and other European regimes to have scant regard for international laws by not just giving asylum to the murderous traitors of other countries, but using freedom of expression as a tool to tarnish the image of Islam through publication of blasphemous caricatures referring to the Almighty’s Last and Greatest Messenger, Prophet Muhammad (SAWA).
If real justice were to prevail in Europe, Emmanuel Macron and other morons masquerading as heads of state and senior officials, would have thought twice before hurting the religious and national sentiments of world Muslims and world countries.
The Islamic Republic of Iran thus makes it clear, that on no account will it tolerate the meddling of the erstwhile colonial powers in its affairs as well as the affairs of neighbouring countries, let alone the insult to Islamic sanctities.
Justice in Islam and the Islamic Republic of Iran is in full conformity with humanitarian principles and the mercy that is shown to culprits to enable them to repent, reform, and rectify their wrongs through proper compensation, in contrast to the mockery of human rights on the pretext of justice that is practiced in the West.
Iran doesn’t provide asylum to terrorists or traitors of other countries, neither do Iran and the Iranian people ridicule figures held in reverence by Christianity, Judaism, and other religions, nor has Tehran any radio, TV, and Internet network to spew poisonous propaganda aimed at undermining or overthrowing the regimes in Europe and the US.
In view of these undeniable facts, the Islamic Republic expects European and all other countries to show respect for its policies by refraining from any meddlesome words and acts.
It is still not too late for the French regime to apologize to the Islamic Ummah and to hand over to the Islamic Republic for trial and impartial justice the traitors and MKO terrorists who operate freely from its soil against Iran and the Iranian people.
