Exports From Fars, Hamedan Provinces Up in 8 Months

TEHRAN (Dispatches) - Iran’s non-oil exports from the Fars province has increased by 30 percent in the first eight months of the current Iranian year compared to the same period last year.
"Since the beginning of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20) to November 20, exports from the Fars Province reached $104,95 438 million”, local customs official Khodadad Rahimi said, adding that during this period, 267,313 tons of goods have been exported to 48 countries.
"The goods have mainly been exported to Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkey, Pakistan, Kuwait, Germany, UAE, Qatar, Vietnam, and India,” Rahimi said.
He noted that Urea, dairy products, aluminum, tomato paste, licorice extract, modified alkyd resins, heat exchangers, fish and figs accounts for the largest volume of the products exported from the province.
"During this period, 23,306 tons of goods worth $97,531,249 million also have been imported from 31 countries through the customs office of the Fars Province,” Rahimi went on to say.

Hamedan Exports to 36 Countries

On Saturday, head of Hamedan’s Organization of Industry, Mine and Trade Hamidreza Matin said export of Hamedan to 36 countries rose up by 18 percent over the past eight months of the Iranian year started on March 20 compared with the preceding period, a provincial official announced.
Despite the sanctions and the pandemic, the province saw an increase in its exports.
During eight months, Hamedan exported 339,000 tons of commodities worth more than 89 million dollars to 36 different world countries, Matin added.
He said that the figure has been near 75.5 million dollars in the preceding period.
Industrial, petrochemical, and agricultural products, as well as handicrafts, have mostly been exported from the province, the official noted.
He further referred to ferrosilicon as the most important mining material which has major customers from many Asian and European states.
Iran due to its geographical position has great sea and land access to different states.
Meanwhile, the country through land roads and its transit capacity developed trade with different world countries.
