Hezbollah Raises Readiness to Counter Any Zionist Threat

BEIRUT (Dispatches) – The Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement has raised the level of preparation to the same level necessary for war times as the Zionist regime is staging war drills on the northern parts of the occupied territories bordering Lebanon.
Hezbollah is marshaling its deep resources for a possible fight against the Zionist regime, Lebanese media said on Wednesday.
Lebanon24 website quoted sources as saying that the resistance movement had ordered extra forces of its members in preparation for a possible attack by the occupying regime as Zionist prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu might decide it at this sensitive stage.
Hezbollah had already announced that the resistance movement was fully prepared for confrontation in case the Zionist regime opts to launch any act of aggression against Lebanon.
Last Sunday, the Zionist regime launched a large-scale exercise, involving ground forces, naval vessels and aircraft, simulating a war against Hezbollah.
The regime’s military said the drills simulated a "multi-front scenario focused on the northern arena” and will predominantly focus on how various headquarters and command centers work together and communicate in wartime.
"The goal of the exercise is improving the army’s attack ability and testing all levels [of the military] in an integrated way,” it claimed in a statement.
Lebanon fought off two wars with the Zionist regime in 2000 and 2006. On both occasions, battleground contribution by its Hezbollah resistance group proved an indispensable asset, forcing the Zionist regime’s military into a retreat.
Lebanon and the occupying entity are technically at war because the latter has kept the Arab country’s Shebaa Farms under occupation since 1967.
