28 Renewable Energy Plants to Become Operational by Yearend
TEHRAN (Dispatches) - Director General of Iranian Renewable Energy Organization Ali Shabnavard has said that Iran will put 28 renewable energy power plants on stream by the end of the current year (March 20).
"At the moment, nearly 54 companies are constructing renewable energy power plants such as solar and wind energy and hydroelectric power plants with a total capacity of 229.39 MW,” Shabnavard said.
He went on to say that based on the feedback achieved from relevant experts about construction of renewable energy power plants with Iran’s Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Organization with regards to executive works of 54 power plants by the end of September 2020, 28 renewable power plants are estimated to enter working stage by the end of the current Iranian year.
