Dozens of Projects Under Way in Mahshahr Petrochemical Zone
TEHRAN (Shana) - The CEO of the Petrochemical Special Economic Zone Organization Seyed Omid Shahidinia said 29 development projects were under construction to complete the value chain and reduce raw material sales in Mahshahr, southwestern Iran.
Shahidinia added: "Four upstream and mid-stream projects and 25 downstream projects are being built to create more added value and produce end-user products in Mahshahr region, and with the production of these units, a big step for reduction of raw materials sales and the realization of the economy of resilience will be achieved.”
He said that the continuation of the development process in the region was always considered as a strategy, adding that the development of complementary industries could diversify the portfolio of petrochemical products in the Petrochemical Special Economic Zone.
