‘That Night’s Train’ Takes Part at German Festival

TEHRAN (IFILM) --  Iranian feature ‘That Night’s Train’ has been selected to compete at the 25th edition of the Schlingel International Film Festival in Germany.
This is the international premiere of the movie, an adaptation of a novel with the same name, written by Ahmad Akbarpour. The novel targets children and young adults.
Directed by Hamid-Reza Qotbi, the film narrates the story of a little girl who meets a female writer when she was on a train.
The writer promises to call and visit her later.
The promise, in the writer’s mind, is just a theme for her new story, thus embarking on a merge of fantasy with reality.
Helped by her father and some other people, the girl attempts to overcome her concerns and this leads to amazing adventures.
The flick was premiered in Iran at the 49th Roshd International Film Festival in 2019.
Some of the cast members of the film are Afshin Hashemi, Siamak Safari, Maryam Boubani, Behnaz Naderi, Bahram Shakeri, and Ailin Rashidian.
The Schlingel film festival offers a program that includes various films from around the world.
The festival also presents workshops, exhibitions and discussion sessions.
This edition of the event is scheduled for October 10-17, 2020.
