Earthquake Jolts Western Iran


TEHRAN (Dispatches) -- An earthquake of magnitude 5.1 struck the province of Kermanshah in western Iran on Sunday.
The quake jolted the Gilan-e Gharb county in the province, with governor Kourosh Mahmoudian saying no casualties had been reported yet. He said teams have been dispatched to the affected areas and the crisis management committee is on full alert. The situation in Gilan-e Gharb is normal and people are carrying on with their daily life, he added.
