The US – World’s No. 1 Terrorist State

By: Kayhan Int’l Staff Writer

45Three quarters of a century has passed since the state terrorism of the US in dropping atomic bombs on the unsuspecting Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, while World War 2 was almost over, as a field test to devilishly determine what catastrophe these radioactive weapons of mass destruction would have on human beings, animals, the soil, and water resources, but it seems the world has still not learned the lessons of this grave crime against humanity.
It is thus an open mockery of the sufferings of humanity, especially of the people of Japan as well as of the rest of the victims of the continued US acts of terrorism all over the world, when Washington claims that it is against Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs).
If there is any grain of truth in this statement of the US then it should first start dismantling its doomsday WMD arsenal that includes nuclear warheads, and chemical and biological weapons.
Since the US administration is the most preposterous liar and a terrorist to its very core, it will never take such a courageous step, unless the Free World is united enough to catch the cowardly Yankees by the scruff of their necks and force them to do what is needed, while making them acknowledge their list of crimes against humanity.
We are sure that this day will soon come, and we will witness the glorious sight of the grand disarmament in North America.
Meanwhile, since we are passing through the first ten days of August, let us pay our tributes to the innocent people of Japan on the 75th anniversary of the holocaust to which they were subjected by the Americans.
It is indeed an irony that the Japanese have been deprived of the right to bring to justice the perpetrators of atomic terrorism against them during World War 2, while the criminal Zionists who never went through any holocaust, continue to be portrayed as victims of an event that never took place in history and have been rewarded with usurpation of the land of Palestine that was never under the control of Nazi Germany.
The US, which claims to combat terrorism, but which in addition to its open and unabashed support for Zionist terrorism, secretly helps terrorist outfits destabilize independent countries, is actually the world’s Number One terrorist state, whose atomic bombing of the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki when World War 2 was almost over, undoubtedly remains the worst terrorist acts in world history.
It was on August 6, 1945 that the US dropped a uranium filled atomic bomb (mischievously dubbed ‘Little Boy’) on the city of Hiroshima. Harry Truman, the then US president then told the Japanese in psychopathic fashion to "expect a rain of ruin from the air, the like of which has never been seen on this earth.”
Three days later, on August 9, the US dropped a plutonium implosion-type bomb (dubbed ‘Fat Man’) on the city of Nagasaki.
The atomic holocaust killed an estimated 140,000 people in Hiroshima and an estimated 80,000 people in Nagasaki. The tragedy did not stop there, and in the next few months large numbers died from the effect of burns, radiation sickness, and other injuries, compounded by illness and malnutrition. In both cities, most of the dead were innocent civilians, including tens of thousands of children.
Wonder, why the Japanese government and the Japanese people remain tight-lipped towards these and other ghastly crimes against their country, when the fact of the matter is that on the night of March 9, 1945, four months before the nuclear attack, the US launched one of the most murderous and horrifying bombing campaigns in the history of the world. That night started the several weeks-long wave-upon-wave of firebombing and napalm attacks on more than 60 Japanese cities. The resulted deaths in those towns and cities eclipse the total deaths in both atomic bombings by several magnitudes.
While Hiroshima and Nagasaki have been engraved on the consciousness of humanity and commemorated in monuments, museums, films, novels and textbooks, the firebombing and napalming of civilians of many other Japanese and Asian cities has largely disappeared from consciousness, except for the victims.
In Tokyo alone, US bombers dropped 300,000 incendiary bombs, completely destroying 16 square miles of neighborhoods.
Historians refer to this US state terrorism against Japan as "The Forgotten Holocaust”, in view of the fact that the Americans even fastened bombs to live bats that were trained to fly up underneath roofs to explode and set houses on fire.
According to reliable accounts, the total dead from the US bombing of Japan was more than a million civilians dead, but unfortunately, the US has forced the Japanese to keep their mouths shut on these crimes against humanity.
It is time the Free World got together to encourage the Japanese to break this silence, and join the rest of the victims of American terrorism worldwide for the collective punishment of the US.
