Sistan and Baluchestan Annual Exports Top $1bn
TEHRAN (Dispatches) - Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Majid Rafi-Soltanzadeh said on Wednesday that Iran’s southeastern province of Siatan and Baluchestan had exports worth more than $1 billion for the past fiscal year (ended March 19).
Rafi-Soltanzadeh said that the exports from the province last year amounted to 1.36 million tons worth $1.09 billion.
He added that the data indicates a 17% growth in terms of value compared with the previous year.
The main data-x-items exported over the period included construction materials, tar, coriander seed, apple as well as chemical and industrial products, which were exported to Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkey, Kuwait and the UAE.
