“Terrorism”, the Perfect Synonym for the U.S.

By: Kayhan Int’l Staff Writer

Majlis Speaker, Dr. Ali Larijani, who is on an official visit to Syria and Lebanon, pointed out in his press conference in Damascus on Sunday that the U.S. is behind the spread of terrorism in the region.
He meant to say that although the current Republican regime of Donald Trump is the most unabashed purveyor of state terrorism around the world, the regimes that preceded him in the White House, whether Democrat or Republican, have all been dyed-in-the-wool terrorists, as borne out by their sinister record of being the greatest supporters of terrorism worldwide.
As a matter of fact, Washington’s terrorism which became fully evident to the whole world with Trump’s unmanly assassination of the iconic anti-terrorist Iranian general, Qassem Soleimani, in Baghdad on January 3, along with Abu Mahdi al-Muhanddis of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) that played the pivotal role in weeding out the macabrely murderous takfiri terrorists, has always been the official policy of Washington.
American terrorism which has claimed scores of millions of innocent lives did not start either with the sinking of its own ship USS Maine in February 1898 in the Havana harbour as a pretext to launch a four-year war on Spain for seizing Cuba, Guam Island and the Philippines, or the criminal atomic bombing in August 1945 of the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki as field tests when World War 2 was virtually over with Japanese troops in full retreat from all fronts.
It actually began in the closing years of the 18th century when the 13 rebellious New England colonies on binding together as the United States of America, cast their covetous eyes on the vast lands of the Amerindians and started the genocidal seizure of what the European occupiers called the ‘Wild West’ to wipe out almost an entire nation that numbered several million people.
The enormity of this white racist terrorism could be realized when we see that today the so-called ‘Redskins’ in the U.S. number a mere 6 million, accounting for less than 2 percent of the national population, which means that if left alone to prosper and progress in their ancestral lands they would have been a great independent nation of at least 150-million true blue native people having their own government, culture, language, and ethnic identity.
What an unpardonable crime was committed by the U.S., which one day will surely meet a terrible end, in addition to the punishment of the eternal inferno reserved for Trump and his predecessors for continuation of this policy of state terrorism!
The victims of American terrorism are not just the 60 million Hispanics whose lands the expansionists U.S. occupied in the 19th century and reduced them to second class status (not to speak of migrants barred from entry and brutalized by border guards), or the heavily discriminated 55 million citizens of black African descent, but the North Koreans whose cities were savagely bombed during 1951-52 to destroy over 75 percent of Pyongyang in addition to the destruction of the other towns and cities, and the Vietnamese who for a decade and a half were subjected to the most merciless military campaign that slaughtered almost four million of them – mostly women, children, and the elderly.
In our own times, we are witnessing for the past 19 years the killing fields of Afghanistan where the Yankee terrorists have destroyed and almost depopulated the country by driving millions into refuge in neighbouring lands.
Then there was Iraq where the U.S. occupation resulted in the death of over two million Muslims, while during the years 2014 to 2016 tens of thousands of Iraqis were murdered by the American-supported Daesh terrorist outfit.
For the past nine years, Syria is also the scene of the slaughter of almost half-a-million people by the U.S.-backed terrorists of different hue and colour, who are still causing havoc in Idlib.
If Yemen stands out as the prime example of a nation where the Saudis with the active political and military backing of the terrorist U.S. have killed more than a hundred thousand men, women, and children besides destroying the infrastructure; Palestine remains an undeniable proof of American terrorism, since without active monetary and military support from Washington, spurious Israel would have longed ceased to exist, and the Palestinian people – both Muslims and Christians – spared of the usurpation of their homeland and the systematic slaughter of the past 72 years.
In Latin America, Cuba, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Bolivia, and other countries continue to be victims of Washington’s terroristic policy.
The list of U.S. crimes against humanity is endless, and without the least doubt the most obvious victim of terrorism since the 1953 coup that toppled its national government, is Iran, which, thanks to the firm faith of its people in Islam, coupled with the dynamism of its leadership, continues to resist and defeat the most intricate Yankee plots, ranging from the 8-year war imposed by Saddam in the 1980s and the murder of 17,000 citizens by the MKO hypocrites (including a president, a prime minister, a judiciary chief, and several MPs), to the present spate of economic sanctions, plus targeted killings of scientists as well as cybercrimes.
