They keep coming in millions. Not just in Tehran and the other big cities like Mashhad, Isfahan, Shiraz, Tabriz, and Qom, but all over the country. Neither rain can stop them nor snow.
In the hotter climes of the country, neither heat can deter them from taking to the streets in multitudes to celebrate the anniversary of Iran’s independence from domestic despotism and foreign hegemony, nor can sandstorms blur their clear vision for treading path blazed out by the Father of the Islamic Revolution – let alone threats, sanctions, and economic terrorism.
Indeed, Divine Providence is clearly evident in the annual Bahman 22 rallies – a day which Imam Khomeini (RA) had hailed as one of the Special Days of God, on the basis of the holy Qur’an.
Yesterday, February 11, without the least doubt, was one such day, as Iranians staged multitudinous nationwide marches, expressing support for the Islamic system of government and the Leader of the Islamic Revolution (Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei), trampling and burning the US and Zionist flags along with effigies of such devilish enemies of humanity as Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu, calling for liberation of Palestine, commemorating the 40th day of martyrdom of General Qassem Soleimani, and vowing vengeance for his innocent blood.
People of all strata of society and of all age groups, ranging from the elderly and the disabled in wheelchairs to toddlers in perambulators, enthusiastically took part in the rallies to once again demonstrate to the whole world the power and prestige of Islamic Iran which today serves as a role model for people and nations aspiring for freedom and independence from the yoke of Global Arrogance.
It is a far cry from an Iran that over four decades ago was an American client state, ruled by a British-installed rootless, repressive and Godless regime that kept the county backward through its dependence for all its needs, including the vital sector of defence, on the foreigners.
Now the people are in charge of their own affairs, electing officials of their choice in the regularly held elections for the Parliament, the Presidency, the Experts Assembly, and municipal councils. In the process they have mastered science and technology in almost every field, to the extent that no amount of illegal sanctions can drive a wedge between them and their leaders.     
In other words, the Iranian people, after braving the various plots of the Great Satan (the U.S.) like mosquito bites during the first 40-year phase of the Islamic Revolution that transformed the country into a heavyweight on the international scene, have now entered the 2nd year of the second 40-year phase of the Islamic Revolution, during which Israel and even the U.S. will vanish from the world map – Insha Allah (God Willing).
If anyone is in doubt, the coming years will definitely prove what Imam Khomeini (the person who had foretold the end of communism) had said and what Ayatollah Khamenei, whose predictions are remarkably accurate, continues to reiterate.
This is the reason for the irresistible pull of the Islamic Revolution for the Iranian people, who continue to turn in multimillions, to the frustration of their enemies.
