‘Azadeh’ Joins Iranian Films Competing in Dhaka

TEHRAN (IFILM) -- The 18th edition of the Dhaka International Film Festival in Bangladesh has been screening Iranian short ‘Azadeh’.
Directed by Mirabbas Khosravinejad, the 10-minute flick tells the story of a little girl who wants to meet her father for the last time, but her mother and brother don’t let her.
Amir-Hossein Beiranvand, Mahdieh Ahmadi-Rad, Masoumeh Korkizad, and Alireza Baharvand have appeared in ‘Azadeh’.
Set to go on screen at the 16th Kinofilm & Manchester International Film Festival in the UK, the film has won honors such as the best short feature award at the 41st UNCIPAR international short film festival in Argentina.

Since 1977, the Dhaka fest has been promoting a healthy culture in the film industry in Bangladesh with the main theme of "Better Film, Better Audience, Better Society.”
This 18th edition of the event has been slated for January 11-19, 2020.
