Days of Mourning

Salaam dear young friends, and greetings to you on the advent of snowfall and rains almost all over the country in the period of peak of winter in Iran.
This is indeed a blessing of God Almighty. Rains and snow are vital for revival of the land and the filling of reservoirs. Of course, excessive rains at times lead to floods and cause inconvenience to urban life and maybe destructive for some crops, but this is the Will of the All-Wise God, and whatever He deems necessary for His creatures, He decrees.
Yes youngsters, we are thankful to the Lord Most High. He created us from nothing and enlightened us with the universal creed of Islam, especially the genuine teachings of the Last and Greatest Messenger, Prophet Muhammad (SAWA), as passed down to us through his Blessed Household, the Ahl al-Bayt, whom God decreed to be our guides and leaders, in order to ensure our salvation.
As you know, these days, we are commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of the Noblest-Ever Lady that graced Planet Earth. She was the model par-excellence of faith and virtue, and taught us how to behave with honour and dignity in the face of the most severe adversities.
Whatever we Muslims know of feminine virtues, we are indebted to Hazrat Fatema az-Zahra (SA), who was martyred for not just defending the rights of women, but in defence of the "Wilaya” or the Divinely-Designated right of leadership of the Ummah, of her husband, the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali ibn Abi Taleb (AS).
Without the least doubt, adhering to the path of Hazrat Zahra (SA) and the Infallible Ahl al-Bayt, have been keys to the success of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the face of some of the most terrible plots hatched by devilish elements over the past 38 years.
This was the reason we saw several million people turn out devotedly for the funeral processions of Martyred Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani and his comrades last week in Tehran, Mashhad, Ahvaz and other parts of Iran, carrying banners with "Ya Fatemat-az-Zahra (SA)” and "Ya Hussain (AS)” printed in bold letters on a black background.
Iranians know very well that no power will be able to harm the Islamic Republic, whatever the intensity of their plots, as long as the country is under protection of the Prophet and the Ahl al-Bayt.
God bless you and goodbye, until we meet again next week.
