TEHRAN (Press TV) -- Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Monday ordered state bodies and nongovernmental organizations to provide more aid to people affected by severe flooding in several cities and villages in southern and southeastern Iran. "Torrential rain in Sistan and Baluchestan Province and some other places in southeast of the country, which has led to problematic flooding for people and in some cases caused destruction and damage, requires that in addition to the praiseworthy services that have been so far rendered, state-run bodies and nongovernmental organizations should do more to help the dear people of that region and prevent further losses,” Ayatollah Khamenei said in a message.
